Our Mission

It is the mission of the Feline Eden Foundation to provide a refuge and safe environment for cats that are displaced, cats that were born outside the home, and to accommodate cats that can no longer be cared for by their owners.

The Foundation recognizes a need to educate the public, and to promote awareness of the plight of cats in the wild state.

To inform the community of circumstances of cats in captivity, such as the consequences to a living creature capable of living 20 years or more, in our throwaway society. This would take into account what abandonment means for the animal. It would also encompass accepted options such as their release into the countryside resulting in destruction of our native environment or a lifetime of solitary confinement. Positive alternatives will be explored.
